Film Festival

On Wednesday 14th of November the Manaiakalanai Film Festival occurred. We got on the bus at 10:00am.

There was a massive screen on the wall and it was a big white board. We got off the bus and walked inside the theatre.There was car parking to go through to get to the movies. Mr Coakley our principal greeted us to the Film Festival. There were 5 schools showing their films in our session. Each school showed their own movies. Saint Pius was lucky because we got to sit at the back of the theatre in the comfortable chairs. I liked it when my friends Rachel and Sonya got up and presented our movie. We were proud of ourselves to be on the big screen.

My favourite movie was the Azonto from Tamaki College because there was a wedding going on and I saw them dance at the back. I loved the night season because I bought stuff from Pak N Save to eat, we weren’t allowed to eat during the day session.

Life Education Life

Wow this is me and Harold and I have been in the Life education van this morning so I am going to talk to you about healthy and your body. You might not seen him but there is a picture to show you. You might have a look at him when he is at your school or else some people might now him.

This is a picture of me and Harold with some activity in the bag. Lynn showed us a lady called Tam with her skin off. What she talked about was when you put the food in your mouth and use it with your teeth and then you move it around with your tongue. Then you use your Saliva and swallow it down to your throat. Next will go down to you tummy. There is a place under the stomach that has lots of stuff and it looks like sausage but it is not it is called small intestines. It breaks up the food and goes to little bits  it takes a very long time. The good food goes to the blood.

Sportsmenship

To show sportsmanship you should play fair and never cheat. We can show sportsmanship by kind and never hurt any one. To make sport better you should be friendly and never get angry at a person.  To be a good sportsman you have to be helpful and never break the rules. You should give a person on your team a go at batting or running and just have fun with your team mates.

Duffy and the best book every

Friday is my best day ever, because the Duffy Theatre come to our school. We sat down for a long and enjoyable show. 

It was friday and everybody was excited because theatre people came to tell us that reading is important. The whole school went to watch the show and we laughed heaps. What they did first was introduce themselves. We sang the duffy song and they told us a story about space and sailing tips. I loved it how scruffy always wanted duffy to play with duffy?. I loved how scruffy danced.


I loved it and it was very excited for me and it told us that reading makes you clever. I enjoyed the show and well done to those who got books.
