For the rest of this term we are going to be looking at God in Religious Education. God is a healer and blesses us. God is also our creator. The Maori name for God is Te Atua.
I am a Year 7 student at St Pius X in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 6 and my teacher is Mr Slade.

Glitter Art
This is a piece of a kowhaiwhai art that has glitter and paint which I drew. Reuben Paterson inspired me to draw this piece of art. I enjoyed putting on the glitter because I saw it shine. I found the drawing difficult because my lines were not that straight.

In the Beginning
Long, long ago there was a Princess named Tangaroa and she was 21. Her brother, Prince Rongo was 19. They lived together in a beach. Rongo liked sitting on the beach and praying.
All of a sudden they both jumped up because they saw sharks around them. They were in a bad mood with the sharks, because all the sharks had grown legs and big hands. Tangaroa had to fix the problem but she just couldn’t. Tangaroa was feeling so weird because all the people got swallowed up and they tried to run. They were all running but except the brothers. Next Tangaroa was so angry and stand up and went to Rongo and they disgusted what to do with the sharks. Rongo was thinking what to do, so he stand up and went and look, he was horrified with the sharks so he went back, and prayed he said “Please put those shark back into normal.
He fixed the problem back to normal. Tangaroa was very happy with Rongo. Rongo returned back to his place and stilled prayed and this was the end of the story.

Orienteering
Fact 1-Orienteering is like when you work like a family and figure out how to use a map.
Fact 2-Navigation means when you have to use a map to find the way to the finishing control marker.
Fact 3-You need to keep on task because some markers will be at the back of the trees and some will be hiding near
the gate.
Fact 4-We have to walk or run to the pointed top that is shown on the map.

The hardest was the shooting but it was alright and fun.
I enjoy doing the shooting because it was hard but it was supposed to be hard. I tried my best and it went in. I was so happy and excited.
