Pigeon Impossible

Plot: There was a man called Walter Beckett and he was a secret Agent.
He was walking with a suitcase and saw a bench and sat and he had a donut and he was eating it,all of a suddenly a bird came near him and wanted some donut from him and he gave the bird small but he wanted all of the donut and he was chasing walter everywhere. The bird was so hungry. Then the bird fell into the suitcase and looked everywhere inside the suitcase. The bird was shooting the people and Walter saw the donut when he fell and puted it up and the bird saw it he stopped and landed and Walter was still putting it up then he put it near the fire were the car got burn and he got the everything from the suitcase and puted in. Walter went near the suitcase and then he tried to catch the bird but he didn't the bird got the shooting and almosted but then Walter throw up the donut and fell inside the suitcase and hitted the rocket button and the rocket started flying and Walter got the suitcase and flayed and the bird was following Walter. Walter oper his suitcase and gave the bird and Walter got his rocket and shoot the big rocket and made a boob and he started to land and saw the bird eating the donut and he was pushing to him and Walter puted his glasses on and walked away and the pointy rocket part fell on the bird.

Problem:The bird was so hungry and fell into the suitcase and was shooting people and shooting cars and the rocket fell on the bird and died.

Solution:Walter gave the donut to the bird so he can shoot that rocket.

Your opinion of the story: My opinion was that the bird was trying to shot Walter because he was trying to give the donut but the bird was scared.

Imagination Story

Mum shouted, “get up Kilistina go and help Elizabeth do her garden”. It was raining, sunny and freezing all at the same time outside and I did not want to get out of the bed.
When I was digging the humongous hole that Elizabeth needed to plant her flowers it was so boring. While I was digging I started daydreaming, I dug deeper and deeper not doing it right. Suddenly a big thump happened and I had hit on a rocky road, “ouch” I screamed.

I saw a Candy tree with a bars of chocolate hanging on it. I was scared because I heard something behind me, it was small, I froze like a statue.
Suddenly I heard a buzz coming towards me and I suddenly saw a bee fly to me and land on the ground he said “hello”.

But I was digging a hole and all of a suddenly I digged more and got into this hole. He was medium size, strong and had 2 eyes, 2 ears and short legs and arms. It had rained and rained in this place for million years. Suddenly he said “what are you doing here?”. I could not get out of the hole because it was slippery and my shoes were slippery. But he was so polite and he showed me everything.

He said to me, “Hold out your hand and close your eyes”, he gave me this shiny, golden diamond with a squishy ball bouncing inside softly and it shined like the sun.

Suddenly I felt my head shaking, it was very sore so I closed my eye and wished it to go away. I opened my I was in my backyard holding the golden diamond that lazy bee gave me to keep. I decided to keep lazy bee’s promise for ever and never forget him. He was my best friend for ever.

Glitter Art

This is a piece of a kowhaiwhai art that has glitter and paint which I drew. Reuben Paterson inspired me to draw this piece of art. I enjoyed putting on the glitter because I saw it shine. I found the drawing difficult because my lines were not that straight.

In the Beginning

Long, long ago there was a Princess named Tangaroa and she was 21. Her brother, Prince Rongo was 19. They lived together in a beach. Rongo liked sitting on the beach and praying.

All of a sudden they both jumped up because they saw sharks around them. They were in a bad mood with the sharks, because all the sharks had grown legs and big hands. Tangaroa had to fix the problem but she just couldn’t. Tangaroa was feeling so weird because all the people got swallowed up and they tried to run. They were all running but except the brothers. Next Tangaroa was so angry and stand up and went to Rongo and they disgusted what to do with the sharks. Rongo was thinking what to do, so he stand up and went and look, he was horrified with the sharks so he went back, and prayed he said “Please put those shark back into normal.

He fixed the problem back to normal. Tangaroa was very happy with Rongo. Rongo returned back to his place and stilled prayed and this was the end of the story.

Orienteering Week 1

Wow! It was fun on Wednesday because Mr McGivern and Mrs Irene came to show us how to play orienteering.

The first thing we did was we drew a map with our white board and then we had a paper from Mrs Irene and we had to go around the classroom and find the letters.

Our second thing we did was we had to figure out what the words said and McGivern gave us a hint he said “read it backwards” and we all did and it said “Have a nice day”.

Our third thing we did was we had to stand up and get in to our math groups and we had to follow Mrs Irene and the other group had to follow McGivern to the field. We all had to listen very carefully to the instructions.

Our fourth thing we did was that we had to get a paper and run to our letter whenever Mrs Irene and McGivern said them.

Our fifth thing was to do was run around the circle and clip the paper when we saw the letter and we were not allowed to go back.

My favourite thing we did was when we had to clip the paper into the sharp clipper. We had to finish off and come back because it was morning tea time.

Howick Historical Village

My favourite thing from our trip to Howick Historical Village was when we had a challenge to build a trolley.

First our teacher broke us into groups. It was our math groups. I found it hard and all my group did too. The lady put a photo up for us to go and see if we needed help. There was spanner, list, bolts and a screw driver in the box. We had used the tools, I could not do it because I had only one hand. My team used the instructions to figure it out.

Our first step was we had to lay the wood that were big and small in front of us. Our second step was to lay the big wood out and then we had to stick the side and the wheels on. Our third step was to use the tools in the box to screw some screws into the holes. Our team found it difficult and hard to. I used all the tools so we can do it faster.

My favourite thing from making the trolley was when I built my trolley and my friend said “go, it is all right” but I still helped them but it was wrong so we had to start over again. Why I loved making the trolley is because I think it is a real trolley that why I love them.

Symbols of the Holy Spirit

These are the images of the Holy Spirit.......

(1)The fire is the symbol because of the burning bush on Mt Sinai and also God speaking to Moses through the burning bush.

(2) The water is a symbol of when Moses picked up his stick and God parted the water to the sides so his people can get through to the other side.

(3) The wind is a symbol because the wind rushed through the room at Pentecost and everybody was filled with the Holy Spirit
